Advertising Card and Publication Schedule
General information:
"The Stallion" is the student-produced newspaper of Abraham Baldwin College. The college is located in Tifton, Ga., with satelite campuses in Moultrie, Ga., and Nashville, Ga. The college maintains an approximate enrollment of 3,650 students. The newspaper publishes on a bi-weekly schedule, excepting holiday periods. The newspaper does not publish during the summer months. "The Stallion Online" is the electronic version of the print edition (including site-specific content), and averages around 6,000 visits per month.

"The Stallion" is not accepting online advertising, classified advertising, or advertising insert orders at this time. The following relates to the print version of the newspaper only.
Submission Format:
We accept display advertising as e-mail attachments in PDF, .eps, .jpg, or .gif formats only. We do NOT accept advertising via fax.
For on-campus clubs and organizations ONLY, we will also accept Word document attachments.
Exception to rates listed below:
Campus clubs and organizations may place free advertising in the newspaper for all non-fund generating events. Sizes are generally 2x3, 1/8, or 1/4 at the discretion of the Business Manager. Other restrictions may apply depending upon space considerations.
Advertising Rates:
Base Rate: $5.00 per column inch (CI)
Column width: 2 inches
Example: A 2 x 3 ad (the smallest we sell)= 4 inches wide by 3 inches tall. Total of 6 CI=$30.00
Size Discounts:
15+ CI= 5% size discount, 30+ CI=10% size discount, full page=20% size discount
Standard size charges (the above discounts are included in pricing):
1/8 page=9 CI=$45.00
1/4 page=18 CI=$85.00
1/2 page=36 CI=$160.00
Full Page=72 CI=$285.00
For all color (spot, full, etc.): Add 20% to base charge
Frequency Discount:
3-6 times=5%
7+=10%
Prepayment Discount: 5%
Other Charges:
Ad construction fee, alteration fee: $10.00 (at the discretion of the Business Manager)
